I arrived in Léo on my new Bang Wang motorcycle from Pô, about 120kms of mostly dirt road. It was early afternoon on market day and somewhere in the low 40ºC.
Léo is the capital of Sissili Province, and is located about 10 kilometers north of the border with Ghana and west of Nahouri province and Pô. The provincial population is in the region of 250,000 the main ethnic group being the Gurunsi. In 2011 the province had 194 primary schools, 18 secondary schools, 65 nurses and 3 doctors.
